Nice and Narrow ATC’s

Here’s a set of Nice and Narrow I made up tonight. I kept them simple, but I like how they turned out. I used a Q-tip pushed into an ink pad and then bounced onto the cardstock to create the feathery feel of the heart in
Very Sweet and to add 2 different colours in the Sweet flower card. I also used Direct to Paper, one of my favorite ways to add interest to a card, and markers in my Holiday Tree.

ATC’s, or Artists Trading Cards, are small “mini” cards 2.5 x 3.5 inches. The advantage to these is that they allow you to create several small, tradeable cards quickly and efficiently- you can fit several to a standard sheet of cardstock, and you can buy albums to store them in. This is a terrific alternative to swapping card faces that usually gets done in Millet or other training venues, and I think you get more bang for your buck- more wonderful ideas for less cost then traditional swapping.

Welcome!
I’m excited to start blogging here to teach fun techniques, hold new biweekly card tutorials, and generate some rubber stamping excitement among my old and new friends and customers.
Please comment from time to time to let me know you’re here, what you’d like to see, or anything else *rubber stamping applicable* you’d like to say!
This should be up and running by January 1, 2007
Merry Christmas!
